Body-shaming isn’t just reserved for thick and curvy girls being made fun of. Petite and flat-chested women also experience bullying for being too thin or “payatot”. Such is the case when Chie posted photos of herself at the 2018 ABS-CBN Ball on Instagram and was accused by a netizen of editing the photos to make herself look bigger. Chie clapped back against the skinny-shaming and said, “Body shaming is not okay!! It’s never an option! I hope whatever you’re going through now, sana malagpasan mo para maging masaya ka naman at hindi ka na manlait.”
WHEN PEOPLE PAID TO MUCH ATTENTION TO HER CHEST
While Chie looked like a walking angel at the 2019 ABS-CBN Ball while wearing Boom Sason, some people sadly focused their ire on Chie’s corset and how it made her chest look. Taking to X, the actress and model cleared her bashers who had nothing better to do than talk about a woman’s body, especially if it came from other women. “Problemahin niyo problema niyo. Wag boobs ko.” Period queen.
WHEN PEOPLE JUDGED HER FOR WEARING A REVEALING GOWN
Imagine criticizing someone just because of the clothes they wear. We could never. Chie’s confidence in wearing outfits that show off her body is one of the many reasons why people love her. But some people didn’t get the memo as they left comments under a post of a dress she wore to a ball saying that it was too revealing. Someone even suggested that Chie had no respect for herself because of the clothes she wears. News flash, it’s the 21st century, let people wear what they want to wear.

Chie has made it no secret that she’s had plastic surgery before, specifically, a rhinoplasty to correct her nose bridge. And while Chie has all the right to do what she wants with her body, that didn’t stop a netizen from bashing the star for going under the knife. Chie tackled the comment head-on and responded to it on TikTok as she advocated for open-mindedness and sensitivity for a subject that women, and anyone for that matter, shouldn’t feel guilt-tripped for doing.
