From young musician to fast rising star, Anji Salvacion is quickly making a name for herself and her solo concert is her biggest step yet.

Life has a funny way of working doesn’t it? One day, you can be just a relative newcomer and the next you join a reality competition TV show and quickly become one of the hottest young stars of the moment. That is the situation Anji Salvacion finds herself in now. While her early beginnings in the industry were filled with rejection such as failed auditions for Star Circle Quest and PBB, Anji dusted herself off to aim for brighter and greener pastures. As they say, when one door closes, another opens for you. And For Anji, that door swung wide.
She became a member of Squad Plus in 2021, but her career really took off when she was part of Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 celebrity edition with the nickname of “Singing Sweetheart ng Siargao.” While she wasn’t as well known as compared to the other housemates and she was up for elimination quite a few times, Anji became a fan favorite. Her personality, talent, and story charmed many, and she managed to make it all the way to the Top 2 along with Alyssa Valdez. Now, the young star, is reaching even higher for her goals as she is set to stage her first ever digital concert this April 30.
GET IN YOUR FEELS WITH ANJI
Entitled Anji Salvacion: The Feels Concert, the event is set to see the young star take center stage as she serenades the virtual audience with her angelic voice. Having your own concert is great as it is, but for Anji, it feels even better since it has always been a dream of hers since she was young. “I am so excited kasi ito po ‘yung naging dream ko para sa sarili ko since I was little and I’m just so excited to be able to share din this dream sa lahat. Finally, I’m going to do a concert, solo, and I’m just so excited,” she shared in an interview.
For those who have only started following Anji just recently, know that music has always been a big part of her life. In fact, one of her very first stints on TV was as a contestant on Idol Philippines. While she didn’t win, her journey on the show did reveal to many viewers the level of talent that was in the young singer. When she was in PBB, Anji also composed quite a few original songs. Arguably the most famous one is the song Dalampasigan, which she performed during a fundraising event. The heartwarming tune is an ode to Anji’s hometown of Siargao, her family, and her longing for her father who sadly went missing when she was younger.

Given how the concert is entitled The Feels, we can expect Anji to bring the emotion on April 30 and maybe even shed a few tears. Aside from seeing Anji sing a slew of tunes like Dalampasigan, you can also expect special guests to appear as well. Tickets for Anji Salvacion: The Feels Concert are on sale via KTX. The concert will also be streamed there as well. A regular ticket will set you back 199 pesos while SVIP and VIP tickets are currently sold out, something that Anji has expressed as overwhelming. “I am very grateful to all my supporters, my family, and most importantly to Him. My heart is full of the support of the sunshines, sunsets, kalumots, kaalon, magulangs, and all the other fandoms under the umbrella ng TeamAnji university.”
