As the year comes to a close, ABS-CBN’s talents hosted a spectacular Christmas special for all their fans. With show-stopping performances and unexpected interactions by their biggest stars, the Christmas Special 2022 was also a festive night for Filipino designers and stylists to show their artistry—by dressing up their muses in not just one, but a lot of glamorous outfits. KATHRYN BERNARDO – 5 OUTFITS
The queen has returned and she did not hold back. Styled by Kimi and Boop Yap, Kathryn Bernardo showed up in five gorgeous dresses: a velvet mini dress with gloves by Steph Tan, a gold asymmetrical cut-out dress and white gown by Mark Bumgarner, lime green dress by Rob Ortega, and blue embellished gown by Vee Tan.
ALEXA ILACAD – 3 OUTFITS
The bombshell wore three dresses that showed the different facets of her personality: a lavender gown by Steph Tan, bronze dress by Arwin Meriales, and red lace gown by Maison Soriano. Alexa was styled by Patty Yap.
BELLE MARIANO – 4 OUTFITS
All eyes were on Belle Mariano when she wore four dresses for her number, all styled by Adrianne Concepcion. She wore a metallic dress, a red bustier gown, a black and gold dress, and a lime green gown.
KIM CHIU – 3 OUTFITS
Kim Chiu wore three gowns for her segment: a white feathered dress by Marc Rancy, a red sequinned gown, and a forest green dress with a sky-high slit. She was also styled by Adrianne Concepcion.
ANDREA BRILLANTES – 3 OUTFITS
Like the star that she is, Blythe turned up in three looks: a gold mermaid gown by Job Dacon, a pink glittery skirt set, and teal satin gown both by AJ Javier. All of her Christmas Special 2022 looks were styled by Eldzs Mejia.
CHIE FILOMENO – 3 OUTFITS
When you have a waist line as tiny as Chie Filomeno’s, of course, midriff silhouettes are the way to go. Also styled by Eldzs Mejia, she wore a blue velvet gown and champagne gold dress both by Carl Arcusa, while for her dance prod, Chie was in a pink and purple set by Black Code Manila.
JANELLA SALVADOR – 3 OUTFITS
Valentina is in the house. In her villain era, Janella Salvador wore a dark violet sequinned gown, a red sparkly dress, and a gold metallic gown. She was styled by Perry Tabora.
JANE DE LEON – 3 OUTFITS
Red is truly Jane De Leon’s color. She wore a lavender tulle dress with a trail, a gold sequinned gown, and finally a red dress a la Cher.
