BYS Fashion Week has come and gone once again, spotlighting local designers making waves in the Philippine fashion industry. With four days of fashion, art, and music, this year’s edition, conceptually themed The Fashion Forecast: A Storm Is Brewing, BYSFW heralded a new era in local fashion—and with them were a slew of celebrities strutting down the runway.
From actors to idols, get a look at all the celebrities who donned their model hats for a night or two for different designers at the BYS Fashion Week 2024.

Nadine Lustre once again made waves as she debuted a new masc hairstyle and look for the Rajo Laurel RAJOMAN show. The Internet’s president served nothing but excellence in a meticulously shaped RAJOMAN ensemble that put a modern twist on a classic off-white pantsuit.

Donny Pangilinan made his runway debut at this year’s BYS Fashion Week, walking for Rajo Laurel’s new menswear collection RAJOMAN. The actor was decked out in classic, structured neutrals as he yet added another notch to his belt as a young pop culture icon.
MICHELLE DEE
Miss Universe Philippines 2023 was undoubtedly fierce on the BYS runway. Michelle Dee walked for designer Jaz Cerezo’s first solo fashion show, sporting a couple elegant, romantic looks worthy of a queen.

Fresh on the stage, Fresh on the runway. Drag performer and Drag Race Philippines Season 1 contestant Min Ortiz, better known as Minty Fresh, brought the slayage to the BYS Fashion Week in a modern leather look with lace-up boots, a racer-style jacket, and classic leather miniskirt as she sashayed for contemporary streetwear brand Charlotte Folk.

James Reid has been straight repping Charlotte Folk lately, and it only made sense that the artist would make an appearance at the CF show at BYS Fashion Week. He not only performed his recently-viral hit Randomantic, but he joined Charlotte Folk founder Jan Venzon in closing out the show in style.

Nitty gritty shapes and patterns adorned Issa Pressman’s figure as she confidently strutted down the runway for young designer Iñigo Villegas’ brand IÑIGO. The actress and creator had her fun on the runway, joining other models in showcasing chic pieces that were nothing short of artwork inspired by the glitz and glam of the nightlife.
VXON – FRANZ, PATRICK, VINCE
Making their return to the runway, VXON wore intricate ensembles that were equal parts functional and artistic. Members Franz, Patrick, and Vince donned contemporary pieces with cutouts, sheer panels, and floral appliqué for the first-ever show of Mikayl Trinidad’s Monohomme Studios. We saw the vision, and it ate.
ALAMAT
ALAMAT was basically the main event as they lent their visuals and talent to two BYSFW shows this year: Russell Villafuerte and Charlotte Folk. After opening the whole show with a performance of Aswang, the boys also put on their model hats and walked the runway for Russell Villafuerte. Clad in sustainably-made streetwear, the idols looked dashing and futuristic.
The next day, they also walked the flight-themed runway for Charlotte Folk, bringing in ultimate casual-cool in fun, solid colors and trendy styles. We’d take off with these legends any day.
