Are your ready, wanderers? Wanderland Music & Arts Festival will return for its 9th edition next March. Continuing the tradition of celebrating good music and good people, this highly-anticipated weekend has announced its first wave of headliners. With local artists and living room party playlists, Wanderland 2024 is giving ‘safe space‘ a new name. As the countdown begins, it’s time to introduce the talented performers who will be gracing the stage at the Filinvest City Events Grounds next year.

The First Headliner

With his fan-favorite songs Banana Pancakes, Better Together, and Sunsets For Somebody Else, American singer-songwriter Jack Johnson makes his Philippine debut at the Wanderland Music & Arts Festival. Aside from his folk-pop anthems and poetic lyrics, Jack is also an environmental rights activist who spearheads sustainability campaigns on ocean health—a true inspiration for the neighborhood’s journey towards sustainability.

Bringing Home to the Wanderland Stage

If music can feel like home, these artists are up on the list. Aussie-born, Berlin-based band Parcels will bring your living room party playlists to life with their signature live music experience. Meanwhile, Novo Amor (Ali Meredith-Lacey), a Welsh multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, will perform his much-awaited music that invokes the comfort of our safe space.

Homegrown Talents

Here’s the thing about Wanderland: this music festival will never come short of homegrown talents—showcasing the best of our country’s indie music scene. Starting things off is Paolo Sandejas, the freshest neo-soul act in the country, known for his addictive melodies with indie-pop and alt-rock vibes. Eccentric in appearance and pleasing to the ears is Ena Mori, who artfully blends Filipino and Japanese genres in her music. Bicol’s best-kept secret, dwta, will enchant the crowd with songs sung purely and beautifully in Bicolano. Joining them is the band bird., which explores the melancholic essence of a Filipino teenager. Finally, the accidental supergroup Party Pace, featuring members from household names in the local scene (IVOS, Sandwich, Chicosci), completes the first wave of Wanderland 2024.
