9 New Indoor Hangout Spots That’ll Beat The Heat

line
Cool and cozy.

‘Cause just like what Spongebob said in one of the most memorable episodes, it’s better to stay ✨🏠 indoors 🏠 ✨

Manila as of late has been giving us nothing but humidity, rain showers and traffic. A bit of a bummer when you think about the idea of having garden picnics, going to the beach, trekking and music festivals for the summer (Alexa, play Summer Bummer by Lana Del Rey). But as we fell into the black hole of Tiktok’s FYP, we discovered some indoor activities that are equally as exciting. From disco nights on the ice skating rink to eating ramen on a train, scroll down below to experience your next hangout spot.

@jodidinooo Summoning Julia B's spirit in me jk HAHAHA #IceIceBabyDiscoOnIce ♬ Dancing Queen – ABBA

When you’re feeling groovy but also want to keep it cool, a disco party on ice already exists. Every Friday at SM Megamall’s ice skating rink, they host their weekly “Ice-Capades” in the theme of boogie and disco. According to their facebook page, tickets start at P400 inclusive of a 2-hour pass and skates with time slots ranging from 5:30PM to 7:30PM or 8:00PM to 10:00PM. They’ve also revealed that they change their themes every week with disco as their opener, and have already hinted on the upcoming concepts for the next Ice-Capades. 90s? Rock N’ Roll? K-Pop? Who knows?

SM Skating is located at Megamall Fashion Hall, EDSA corner Doña Julia Vargas Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City
