Don't sleep on Bella's vocals.

Contrary to what some may say, Bella Poarch has always had the vocal chops to back up her talent and emerging pop star status. These song covers prove that.

If you’ve been on the internet in the past year, which you were, of course, then you may have heard of Bella Poarch. She is a TikTok superstar, an up-and-coming fashion trailblazer, a Filipina making waves abroad, and a fan of alpacas. This year, Bella is also known as a breakthrough musician with her recent entry into the industry. Back in May, she dropped her debut single, Build a B*tch, and followed that up with INFERNO featuring Sub Urban in August. And to the surprise of many, both songs are good.

When people who get famous on the internet release their own song, the usual consensus is that it’s bad or sub-par. But Bella has proven that she is taking her entry into the music industry seriously and has already delivered two bops. If you’ve been following the young star since the beginning, then you’ll know that Bella can sing. With that being said, here are 8 of Bella Poarch’s best song covers that show off her impressive vocals.

Singing has always helped me get through anxiety, depression & ptsd. I stopped singing for a really long time because of something…

With ukulele in hand (something you’ll see more of in this list), Bella’s cover of Friend by Gracie Abrams was simple but sweet. You can feel the emotion in her voice and that it comes from a special place. Bella has said that singing has helped her through her darkest moments and it’s nice to see that she has regained her confidence when it comes to posting her real singing voice on the internet. It’s a talent she shouldn’t hide.

Hi, I was really nervous filming this because not a lot of people know I love to sing??

Bella Poarch covered this Ariana Grande song and nailed it. As the opening song of Ariana’s Sweetener album, raindrops (an angel cried) is an impressive showcase of her vocal range and Bella killed it with her sweet and soothing voice. The little dance she does at the end made it even better.

Heres my video again. Sorry I got nervous and took the other one down, Some days, I hate my voice?

Bella and her ukulele are a match made in heaven. Her stripped-down cover of Losing Interest is another great example that Bella has a singing voice that’s worthy of the spotlight.

Right when I thought my days were done, you showed the sun to me ❤️ I love you guys

In this cover, you can really feel the love in her voice as it sounds like she’s singing to someone special to her. If Bella’s cover of In and Out of Love by Oh Wonder is any indication, then we need her to release an original song with just her and the ukulele.

In case you didn’t know, Bella Poarch is a pure-blooded Filipino, as seen in her many professions and conscious representation, and yes, her love for Jollibee. And as further proof of how Pinoy she is, she also likes to do karaoke. In New Years 2021, Bella did karaoke and sang Bakit Pa? by Jessa Zaragoza. She delivered vocals that would make any Pinoy karaoke user proud. This is one of the few times that Bella has been documented singing a Filipino song and she did an amazing job. We need Bella to start singing more Filipino songs.

What makes her cover even better is that fellow Filipino internet star and her cousin Bretman Rock is dancing along to Bella’s singing. Speaking of Bretman, Bella also wonderfully sang Happy Birthday to Bretman during his 23rd birthday party.

Chicken wing song. Can someone please add a beat to this??

Even when she covers a meme song, Bella Poarch hits it out of the park. One of her most popular videos on TikTok, Bella’s cover of the chicken wing song was so good that someone turned it into a fire remix.

Many have tried covering Reflection from Mulan. And Bella Poarch can proudly add herself to the list of people who did a great job. The only thing we need now is for Bella to drop her full cover of Reflection, because her short snippet left us wanting more.

Back in July of this year, Bella Poarch played a game of song association with ELLE and as expected she slayed all 15 words. We couldn’t pick which one of her answers was our favorite, so we decided to just pick them all. Aside from the fact that the video was a great showcase of her talents, we also got to learn more about her like how she learned how to play ukulele in the navy in one month and that her dream collab is with Rose of BLACKPINK.

Good morning mga bhie☀️ Dc @Shine Sena??

♬ INFERNO – Sub Urban & Bella Poarch

Yes, this is not a song cover, but we feel that we should include this on the list because of the sweet story behind it. When Bella dropped her song INFERNO, Filipino user Shine Sena did a dance challenge for the song and it soon went viral. Bella caught wind of the dance challenge and not only did she comment on the original dance cover, but she also posted her own version. Filipinos supporting Filipinos, we love to see it.
