From winning a Luna Award to learning valuable life lessons in Bali, young Filipina actress and singer Heaven Peralejo has been amassing so many Ws this year!

If there’s anyone who’s been meeting their life goals this 2023, it’s probably Heaven Peralejo. The sky’s the limit for Filipino actress as besides bagging award nominations and wins, Heaven’s consistently winning at different areas in her life. The young artist, who just turned 24 years old recently, has had a busy year. From winning her first film award (a prestigious one, at that) to marching at her graduation, Heaven has ticked off plenty of milestones in her life and career this 2023.
The star got her start in small roles on television and film, and joined Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 in 2016. Her roles and her career grew and grew consistently well, even when she was studying. Heaven received widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Me-Ann in suspense thriller and Metro Manila Film Festival 2022 entry Nanahimik Ang Gabi (2022) across Ian Veneracion and Mon Confiado, even winning awards for her acting. This year, she starred in a number of roles, discovered herself, and turned 24 with a whole slew of achievements under her belt. Let’s recap Heaven Peralejo’s wins this 2023, shall we?
WINNING A LUNA AWARD
Widely-acclaimed for her performance in Nanahimik Ang Gabi (2022), Heaven was nominated for and won prestigious acting awards, one of which is the Luna Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. The Luna Awards are presented by premier motion picture organization and collective, the Film Academy of the Philippines. She also won the same title at the Asian Academy Creative Awards for the Philippines category.
MARCHING FOR GRADUATION
Not just a lauded actress, Heaven recently revealed that she was able to march for graduation! Heaven finished college in 2021 with a degree in Business Management from Southville International School affiliated with Foreign Universities, but only got to march this year. Marching is such a special moment in a student’s life, and while the pandemic robbed many of the opportunity, it’s heartwarming to see even stars experience such a significant milestone.
HER ROLE IN THE RAIN IN ESPAÑA
Heaven was cast in the lead role of highly-anticipated series The Rain In España as Luna, opposite Marco Gallo as her love interest Kalix. The Rain In España is based off of Gwy Saludes’ popular Wattpad novel series of the same name, and gave rise to the new loveteam that is MarVen (Marco + Heaven). The series received plenty of love and support from new watchers as well as its dedicated fanbase, and Heaven was also praised for her portrayal of Luna. As she should!
BOOKED AND BUSY
Just this year, the actress has starred in series The Iron Heart, The Rain In España, and Linlang, as well as The Ship Show, a film with her loveteam partner Marco Gallo. Heaven is also set to star in upcoming films Fruitcake and The Fisher. She’s booked, busy, and shows no sign of stopping!
PBA MUSE AND GINEBRA CALENDAR GIRL
Heaven took her beauty to the basketball court for the first time as Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s muse at the 48th season of the Philippine Basketball Association games. Not long after, in an epic, stunning event, it was announced that the 24-year old is the new Ginebra San Miguel Calendar Girl for 2024! Talk about a double whammy.

Whether its exploring Taiwan with her friends or solo-tripping in Indonesia, Heaven spent her time trying new things and going on new adventures. It’s not easy to have a hectic career and still find time to experience the best of what life has to offer—and it’s not easy to just travel solo and go on new adventures. Heaven’s truly living her best life.
DISCOVERING HERSELF
Travel has clearly been a big part of Heaven’s 2023, as is mindfulness and introspection. In her solo adventures, the 24-year old found peace, independence, and strength to move forward. She even got new tattoos to commemorate her healing Bali trip and the symbolize everything she’s learned.
