Forget the flowers—this season, we’re all about dressing to impress ourselves. Whether you’re dressing up for a solo date or a night out with your gal pals (because every day can be Galentine’s Day), February is the perfect time to wear your heart (and your closet staples) on your sleeve. It’s no longer all about the reds and pinks, though. This season, we’re embracing personal style, mixing textures, and making a statement—because nothing says self-love like an outfit that makes us feel ~unstoppable~.

Enter NYLON Manila Picks, your go-to style mood board for the month. We’re rounding up the fashion pieces we can’t stop thinking about—from trends that are worth the hype to timeless staples that deserve a spot in your wardrobe. Here’s what made the cut for our fashion wishlist in February.

ALO Airlift Suit Up Bra – Precy Tan, Copywriter

I never really understood the hype around Alo until I got my hands on the Airlift Suit Up Bra—and now I get it. The support is incredible, hugging in all the right places without feeling restrictive, making it perfect for both workouts and everyday wear. I grabbed it in two colors: classic black (because duh, it goes with everything), but the espresso shade? Absolute perfection. It’s that rich, deep brown that makes you feel expensive just wearing it.

DAYS Contrast Work Jacket – Renzo Lumanog, Associate Producer

With local clothing brand, DAYS, they pride themselves on creating heavy-duty, workwear clothing akin to your big hitters like Carhartt, but for a much more reasonable price. The DAYS Constrast Work Jacket is a great, timeless piece to wear on the daily (it’s a plus to be supporting a small business, as well!).

PENSHOPPE “Brighter Days Ahead” Collection – Raf Bautista, Deputy Editor

With summer approaching, I’ve been looking for pieces that give the fun and breezy summer energy. And I think I found it in Penshoppe. Their variety of options make it a good choice if you’re looking for signature styles or affordable pieces to compliment an overall vibe. Also, seeing the new “Brighter Days Ahead” campaign from BINI and James Reid (who became the newest face of the brand) gave me a summer-coded boost.

SoFab! Marlon Mary Jane Pumps – Nica Glorioso, Features Writer

I’ve been eyeing these Mary Janes for a while now, and I finally got them! I wanted a white/cream shoe that could be dressed up or down and had an ankle strap. The SoFab! Marlon Mary Jane Pumps gave everything I wanted, in cream patent leather, a slight square toe, and a comfy insole.

Saan Saan No. 45 Talyer – Macky Arquilla, Head of Creative Services

I’ve been an avid fan of the local brand Saan Saan for years, and my all-time favorite is the Saan Saan No. 45 Talyer. Despite its name, the scent feels luxurious with rich leather and oud notes — plus, it’s incredibly long-lasting.

UNIQLO Cropped Polo Shirt – Gelo Quijencio, Multimedia Artist

I love the UNIQLO Cropped Polo Shirt because it has a perfect mix of casual and chic, making it easy to style. The cropped fit is flattering and modern, giving a fresh twist to a classic polo design. Its soft, high-quality fabric feels comfortable and durable, perfect for everyday wear. Plus, it pairs effortlessly with anything from jeans to skirts, making it a versatile wardrobe essential.

UNIQLO UTme! X Alyssa Babasa – Nica Glorioso, Features Writer

Looking for a tee that perfectly encapsulates your ability and strength as a woman? The UNIQLO UTme! x Alyssa Babasa collab came perfectly on time for Women’s Month. Each shirt or tote design by local artist Alyssa Babasa corresponds to a female archetype. It’s colorful, cute, and a nice addition to my t-shirt collection. I’m “The Intuitive”!
