Aecia Clothing Rental – Precy Tan, CS Copywriter
I love Aecia because the team and I got our dresses here for the recent Filipino Music Awards, and they honestly made the whole process so easy. They cater to a wide range of sizes, which meant I could find something that fit perfectly without compromise. Renting from them is also super convenient—it’s sustainable, budget-friendly, and lets you wear pieces you might not otherwise splurge on. Plus, their designs are so versatile and chic, it’s impossible not to feel confident and event-ready in every piece.
adidas Samba OG – Gelo Quijencio, Multimedia Artist
I really wanted a good tan sneakers and I found the perfect match for me – the adidas Samba OG in Cardboard. It’s comfy for long walks while keeping things classic and in style. I added a few charms and shoe laces to spice it up more.
Bar Boys Sweatshirt – Precy Tan, CS Copywriter
I’ve always said that Bar Boys is one of my favorite musicals of all time, so when I got to catch the rerun, I knew I wasn’t leaving without merch. Choosing between the shirt and the sweatshirt was a real struggle, but I ended up going with the sweatshirt because of the line “May singil ang pangarap.” It’s such a powerful reminder of the grit and sacrifice that comes with chasing your dreams—and honestly, it hits even harder when you’re wearing it. Plus, it’s comfy enough to live in, which makes it even better.
Beyond the vines – Bianca Lao, Senior Brand Associate
I may be a little late to the game, but I finally experienced the Beyond The Vines hype firsthand after the brand’s anniversary celebration at their Shangri-La branch.
It was the perfect opportunity to dive deeper into what makes BTV so beloved. In a conversation with co-founder Rebecca Ting, she shared that the Philippines was the first Southeast Asian market they chose to expand into beyond Singapore. Her reason? The warmth of the people and the cultural affinity for creativity and expression.
She also spoke about her love for color, which is clearly woven into BTV’s design DNA, and caught my attention, too. Their stylish and playful yet functional aesthetic makes everyday essentials feel intentional and joyful. Personally, I’m obsessed with the Poofy Wallet (mine’s in lilac!) and their iconic Dumpling Bags.
Levi’s Women’s Snowflake Cardigan – Luna Zabala, Marketing Copywriter
I know this country only has two seasons (wet and dry) but don’t punish a girl for trying to live out her autumn fantasy. This cardigan from Levi’s lets me dream of pumpkin spice and cozy cottages even while I’m working with dreary Manila rain beating down on my windows. It’s warm, cute, and feeds my delusions. A win on all fronts, I believe.
Maidenform Shapewear – Bianca Lao, Senior Brand Associate
I luckily got the opportunity to try out a few products from Maidenform recently, and it was my first time being exposed to the brand and shapewear in general! (I understand the SKIMS hype now!) Safe to say that I had a great first impression of their products, following each product’s high quality material and look.
Heather Clothing – Nica Glorioso, Features & Pop Culture Writer
I’ve found a new favorite dress brand! Heather Clothing came through for me when I needed a semiformal dress for an event, and not only were their selections gorgeous and very reasonably priced, but they also kindly accommodated my rush order. Their dresses and tops (so many options for all occasions, from formal events to casual hangs) are simple enough for people with all kinds of style, but each one definitely makes a statement.
SOLA Sculpting Shapewear Dress – Precy tan, cs copywriter
The SOLA Sculpting Shapewear Dress is one of my favorites because it actually lives up to its name. It smooths and sculpts in all the right places without feeling restrictive, which makes wearing it comfortable even for long days or events. The fit is flattering, the fabric feels high-quality, and it gives you that extra boost of confidence without trying too hard. I love that it’s practical but still stylish enough to wear on its own, so it works for both everyday wear and special occasions.
