With their newest campaign Panlasang Pinoy, ZUS Coffee PH introduces a collection of Filipino-inspired drinks: Champorado Latte, Buko Salad Espesyal Latte, & Honey Kalamansi, blending familiar flavors from our childhood with classic ZUS Coffee techniques and tastes to create drinks that feel like home. Crafted by Filipinos for Filipinos, this collection is a way of honoring tradition, celebrating culture, and inviting everyone to rediscover what makes our flavors truly ours.
These unique beverages don’t just draw from Filipino flavors, they also evoke feelings, memories, and even places. Think family gatherings, holiday parties, and breakfast before school. This collection draws from all our favorite homey, local drinks and desserts and breathes into them new life using their signature blends. From rich chocolate to fresh buko to tangy kalamansi, there’s something for everyone. FLAVORS OF HOME
Champorado Latte
Waking up to Champorado for breakfast is such a happy core memory for so many of us. The tablea, the evap, for some even the tuyo are such familiar flavors that just reading about them almost makes you taste them. The Champorado Latte is all that—well, minus the tuyo!—in a cup. All warmth and chocolatey goodness, perfect to cuddle up with in this weather.
Buko Salad Espesyal
Another new drink is the Buko Salad Espesyal, inspired by the popular Pinoy dessert often served during Christmas, fiestas, and family gatherings. Everyone has their own “espesyal” mix, and now, so does ZUS Coffee PH. Their own Buko Salad Espesyal is a latte made with fruit cocktail, coconut, and sweet milk—for that punch of festivity with every sip.
Honey Kalamansi
Whether it’s iced or hot, kalamansi with honey is a go-to Pinoy home remedy for when you’re sick. But you don’t have to have the sniffles to pick up this drink. Don’t shy away from the zest, too. The Honey Kalamansi is a sweet, tangy beverage that reminds you of rainy days and staying home, being taken care of. Conversely, with the drink being light and refreshing (you can get it iced!), it might also remind you of cooling down on a hot, sunny day outside with your friends.
BEHIND THE LOOK
The Panlasang Pinoy design took inspiration from local Filipino weaving—it reflects the identity of each province. A product of hard work, such patterns and textiles are a source of pride for many Filipinos, each one patiently handwoven with care, much like these new beverages, each one a a tapestry of nostalgic Filipino flavors brought to life by ZUS Coffee Philippines.
Their limited edition Paperbag and Cupsleeve packaging, in-store designs, as well as their new merch, reflects their commitment to supporting local culture and homegrown artisans keeping heritage alive.
ZUS Coffee Philippines reached out to local lifestyle brand Team Manila—known for their merchandise that speaks of contemporary Filipino culture—to create these designs. The result? A collab inspired by cultural prints, now reimagined as a Tote Bag and Bucket Hat made for daily wear. It’s more than fashion—it’s culture you can carry with pride.
