jayeondo salt bread – GELO QUIJENCIO, MULTIMEDIA ARTIST
We went to Ikseondong in Seoul recently and we saw there’s Jayeondo Salt Bread, I was so curious since it was heavily recommended on TikTok. The bread was so hot, soft and tender, the perfect balance of saltiness and butter-y taste. I could eat a whole pack in one sitting.
GOTBAKED – NICA GLORIOSO, FEATURES & POP CULTURE WRITER
GotBaked in Katipunan is my new fave hang/work spot. Their drinks and pastries are sublime, they’ve got outlets, Wi-Fi, and a great vibe. It’s perfect for a co-working day or just a place to catch up with your besties.
Au’n Scene Coffee Earl Grey Latte – BIANCA LAO, SR. BRAND ASSOCIATE
Can’t decide between Milk Tea or Coffee? Au’n Scene has the perfect answer for you in the form of their Earl Grey Tea Latte. I recently came across the drink, with it being recommended by the Au’n Scene Team themselves, and completely fell in love.
The flavor is strong, but not overwhelming. It’s a perfect balance between having a tea flavor and the same kick as coffee.
Maltesers – BIANCA LAO, SR. BRAND ASSOCIATE
Don’t you just love the classic chocolates? I definitely do, especially Maltesers, which have made a comeback to my current snack rotation as I love the outer chocolate shell and the malted milk core. It’s not overwhelmingly sweet, but it tickles the right nerve for your sweet tooth.
spanish latTE FROM Jamjen’s Cafe – PRECY TAN, CREATIVE SERVICES COPYWRITER
Coffee by the beach always hits differently, but the Spanish latte from Jamjen’s Cafe in Baler genuinely surprised me. It’s this small, tucked-away spot that you have to walk a little farther to find, but it’s so worth it once you do. The latte was rich and smooth—sweet, but not too sweet—and honestly better than a lot of the ones I’ve had in the city. Easily my top drink from the trip.
dino bites – PRECY TAN, CREATIVE SERVICES COPYWRITER
Dino Bites sugar cookies are sweet without being overpowering, and every bite instantly takes me back to childhood afternoons filled with simple treats. They’re crunchy, flavorful, and comforting, making snack time feel a little more special and nostalgic.
Harlan + Holden Milk Soft Serve Ice Cream – LUNA ZABALA, MARKETING COPYWRITER
Milk + ice cream. Milk in ice cream. Milk ice cream. What else am I supposed to say? Harlan + Holden makes good coffee, but they make some pretty good soft serve too. And in a country as eternally hot as the Philippines, a good swirl of sweet, milky ice cream is always a welcome treat.
