When it came to snacks and sips this November, our days were filled with nothing but enthusiastic “yeses.”

Another month is behind us (this year went by so fast, BTW?!), and with it brings a new set of food, restaurants, cafés, snacks, drinks, and desserts that we absolutely demolished. This November, we went sweet and snacky, with a lineup of food and drink that’s perfect for a chill day at home or an afternoon out with friends. From new stores to foreign snacks, rich ice creams to savory soups, these food picks are sure to make your taste buds dance.
Korean Traditional Snack Barley Grain Crunchy Roll puff – GELO QUIJENCIO, MULTIMEDIA ARTIST
This has been my absolute favorite food/snack this month. As someone who barely has time for breakfast, it’s the perfect quick grab-and-go snack.
Pan de Manila Chocolate Ice Cream – NICA GLORIOSO, FEATURES & POP CULTURE WRITER
I can’t stop thinking and recommending this ice cream from Pan de Manila (which, BTW, if you havent tried any of their frozen desserts, you definitely should). It is the richest, sweetest, smoothest chocolate ice cream I have ever had. IDK what they put in this, but I’m addicted. Don’t even ask for more information, just get yourself a pint and chow down.
Engine 46 Soups – NICA GLORIOSO, FEATURES & POP CULTURE WRITER
I couldn’t eat solid food for about a week because I had my wisdom teeth removed, so I made the rounds trying some lugaw, noodles, and soups near me. I came across the restaurant Engine 46 and tried their soups, and let me tell you, as a soup lover, these definitely hit the spot. The tomato soup, the pumpkin soup, and the cream of mushroom soup were all hits, as was the garlic bread they came with.
Coopers – BGC – BIANCA LAO, SR. BRAND ASSOCIATE
We recently dropped by the newly opened Coopers branch in BGC, and it was everything we hoped it would be—because honestly, who doesn’t love a cozy café weekend hangout?
We kicked things off with their classic, crowd-favorite Matcha Latte and tried their Ube Latte for the first time. Safe to say, both drinks exceeded our expectations and officially earned a spot on our go-to coffee list.
We also got to try the Banana Nutella crepes, which turned out to be the perfect merienda—bite-sized, not overly sweet, and quite easy to finish.
So if you’re on the lookout for a chill spot to enjoy great drinks and snacks with friends around BGC, make your way to Coopers BGC. Trust us, bestie!
Trader Joe’s Cacio e Pepe Puffs – LUNA ZABALA, MARKETING COPYWRITER
Italians, look away. Are they gone? Okay. These organic corn puffs have been my household’s latest culinary obsession. It pairs the sharp cheesiness and biting pepperiness of cacio e pepe pasta with corn puffs’ light, crunchy texture that keeps you coming back for another handful.
Drip Kofi Spanish Latte + Chocolate chip cookie combo – PRECY TAN, CREATIVE SERVICES COPYWRITER
As someone who’s always loved having a good cookie with my coffee, this Drip Kofi Spanish Latte and chocolate chip cookie combo is right up my alley. I like that both aren’t too sweet since I usually prefer my coffee with a bit of bitterness. These picks are also affordable, making it easy to treat myself without feeling guilty.
Funhan Mart – PRECY TAN, CREATIVE SERVICES COPYWRITER
I’ve been visiting Funhan Mart more than I probably should these past few months, especially on those 3am runs when I’m craving kimbap or cheesy ramen noodles. I love that they also have those drinks you can transfer into your own cup, which makes the whole experience very ~Korea~. It’s become my little late-night comfort spot that never disappoints.
