This Pride Month, it’s pertinent to remember just how much work still needs to be done to secure the safety and freedom of the queer community, especially when we’re at Pride events that celebrate love, identity, queer joy, and liberation. A protest at its core, Pride has come to be commemorated and celebrated in many different ways. Whether you’re looking to attend events that are a call to action or a simple celebration of love and freedom, this June has plenty in store for you. LOV3LABAN PRIDE PH FESTIVAL 2025
This year’s Pride PH Festival aims to cement their commitment to change, love, and equality. On June 28, protest for change, celebrate love and identity, and cultivate a safe space at LOV3LABAN in UP Diliman.
KOMIKET PRIDE
Filipino art and artists (and queer ones!) take the spotlight in Komiket Pride Week 2 at Ayala Malls Market Market in BGC on June 13 to 15. Explore the booths, cop an art print or sticker or two, and meet your fave artists as you paint the town all sorts of colors.
QUEERLAYAAN
Art has long been a way for people to express themselves in all their queerness and glory, and you’ll see plenty of proof at Queerlayaan Sticker Con and Art Market on June 14 at the UNILAB Bayanihan Center in Pasig.
QCINEMA PRIDE FILM FEST
QCinema’s first-ever Pride Film Festival boasts a lineup of queer films that’ll make you laugh, cry, and feel all the feels. Catch full-length features and shorts at Gateway Cineplex 18 on June 25 to 29.
FOR THE WOMEN
WLWs, rejoice! Caz and Pepper are hosting a party for women and WLWs at the Prohibition Liquor Lounge in Greenbelt, Makati. Have a fun night of music, drinks, and dancing on June 28.
RUNRIO PRIDE RUN
Run for a cause and in solidarity with the community with this year’s RUNRIO Pride Run. They’ve got runs in Cebu (June 22), Davao (June 29), and right here in Manila (June 29). Choose from four different run lengths and categories, 1K (which you can run with your dog!), 3K, 5K, and 10K. A Drag Brunch? Sign us up! Celebrate Pride with your favorite drag icons Brigiding, Khianna with a K, Maxie Andreison, Precious Paula Nicole, Viñas Deluxe, Angel Galang, Arizona Brandy, Bernie, Shewarma, and Russia Fox at VICE Comedy Club on June 21.
METRO MANILA PRIDE
From quiz nights to speed dating, Metro Manila Pride’s Bukas Para Sa Lahat month-long Pride events have something for everybody. On June 14, partake in a quiz night at Wabi Sabi Studios and show off your competitive side. On June 21, throw yourself into the dating pool with their speed dating event at Co-Create Studios in Pasig. Finally, have a picnic at the Metro Manila Pride Piknik on June 28 (location TBA).
