Despite her busy schedule, Belle Mariano is focusing on her education as the psychology major recently began college.

Belle Mariano has been booked and busy as of late. But really, when isn’t she? The Gen Z star recently performed at ASAP’s show in Las Vegas and went on a promotional tour in LA for her and Donny Pangilinan’s new movie, An Inconvenient Love. Speaking of the film, Donny and Belle are also set to embark on a promo tour around the country for the movie, which releases on November 23. It’s safe to say then that Belle’s career is thriving with continuous projects, shoots, and endorsements coming her way. But despite all the blessings Belle has received, that still hasn’t dissuaded her from continuing her education. In fact, she recently revealed that she started college this November.
SHE’S A COLLEGE GIRL
During DonBelle’s recent interview on Magandang Buhay, Donny was talking about graduating college with his sisters Ella and Hannah. The conversation then went to Belle when Donny said that she was going to start college. While Belle didn’t reveal where she was going to study, she did say that she is taking up a psychology degree. And according to the young star and college freshman, the degree choice was work-related. “It’s really something close to me, most especially in the field of my work, which is acting,” shared Belle. “We play we our emotions.”
Belle graduated from high school in 2019 at the Divine Angels Montessori of Cainta, and with honors, by the way. The emergence of the pandemic and Belle’s fast rise in stardom most likely prevented the 20-year-old star from enrolling in college right away. But this 2022, she found the time and is set to work hard on getting that psych degree. Balancing a hectic work schedule and school is not easy, but we have a feeling Belle can handle it.
GET THAT DEGREE
She also has many contemporaries to turn to for advice. And of course, there’s Donny who shared his words of wisdom on the importance of education. “When you look back, lahat ng sacrifice na ginawa niyo, sobrang worth it talaga. Keep pushing. Kaya niyo ‘yan. Just put your resources and time into those who will push you to do better and will claim you towards those goals na gusto niyo gawin.”
Belle’s foray into becoming a working student should also be a reminder of the value education has in our lives. Even if Belle is already a star, that isn’t stopping her from going to college. So, don’t think finishing school is wasting time because it’s not. Good luck Belle!
