While Sandara Park has never left the public spotlight post-2NE1 disbandment with her slew of TV appearances, she, unlike the rest of her members, has yet to release solo music. That is finally about to change as her long-awaited solo debut is no longer just a myth or meme, but a reality with the imminent drop of her debut solo mini-album on July 12.

But aside from the concept photos showing off Dara’s eternal beauty, the teasers showcase a carnival concept, especially given the title track, FESTIVAL. Considering how long fans have been waiting for this, it’s definitely going to be a party.
And for those who wonder how Dara would do on the stage by herself, know that she’s been ready for years. It should be noted that the K-pop star already dropped her solo debut in 2004 with the release of her self-titled EP, which contained the immortal bop that is In Or Out. Technically, she’s already had solo music out, which makes her mini-album on July 12 her first Korean solo release and her Korean solo debut of sorts. Still, we can’t wait to add her album to our playlists when it drops. We already know Dara is going to give what needs to be given.
