SHE WAS A BIT OF A WILD CHILD GROWING UP
In case you didn’t know, Francine had a nickname growing up called “Francine Galis,” a name she was shocked that Bea knew. And when asked about it, Francine came clean and said that growing up in Tondo, safety wasn’t exactly top of mind. “Pag bata ka, gusto mo lang maglaro ‘di ba? Walang kang pake kung nakadamit ka or hindi.” She shared how she would sometimes play in the rain without any clothes or play on the street without any slippers, causing her to get bruised. But Francine is long past that phase now.
SHE ADMITS THAT THERE IS PRESSURE AND JEALOUSY IN THE INDUSTRY
In the industry that Francine works in, and especially the status that she has as a young woman, petty rivalries and jealousy aren’t usually far away. And true enough, Francine said that she felt that the pressure and jealousy in the industry is real. But she added that she wasn’t one to start petty fights or try to outdo her contemporaries. “Parati kong pinapasok sa isip ko na lahat naman tayo darating ‘yung para sakin sa tamang oras,” she shared.
SHE GOT CAUGHT IN A LIE TALKING ABOUT HER LOVE TEAMS
In a particularly spicy question, Bea asked Francine if she felt that the FranKira love team was better than FranSeth or KyCine. She said no, but the lie detector called it out as false. After a few shrieks from Bea and Francine, the young actress clarified that she just felt that the FranKira love team had many supporters and fans. She then complimented Akira by describing him as the boy version of her and that they both have the same sense of humor and vibe. But before some of you jump the cliff, she truthfully said that she doesn’t see them becoming more than friends.
SHE GOT ANNOYED BY A CO-ACTOR
Spending many hours a day on shoots can be stressful as a lot of things can happen. And to that, Francine admitted that she got annoyed by one of her co-workers before. While Francine didn’t spill who exactly this co-worker was, she did say that it wasn’t because of their acting but of what they did off cam.
SHE THINKS PEOPLE HAVE BEEN FAKE TO HER
While Francine tries to keep it real, the same can’t be said for some of the people she’s met. She truthfully answered that she hasn’t been fake to anyone. But she admits that there have been people who have been plastic and fake to her and even said that the showbiz industry is toxic.
SHE’S MET HER IDEAL GUY
Francine’s love life has been speculated on for years. And while Francine has remained tight-lipped on what her heart is telling her, she had had moments where she’s let people in, such as during her lie detector test. For starters, she admitted to Bea that she has liked a co-worker, though she obviously didn’t say who it was. Francine then went on to say that she has met her ideal guy. But often, people who are her type end up becoming her friends, which is something she is still blessed and grateful for.
KEEPING IT REAL ALL THE TIME ISN’T EASY
While Francine Diaz isn’t one to fake it until you make it, she did admit during the test that her genuine personality isn’t front and center all the time. She attributes this to the fact that work can be very stressful, and the pressures of being a public figure can take its toll. “May mga pagkakataon na kunwari sa work, tapos I’m not having a good day, so I have no choice siyempre kailangan naka-smile ako.” Honesty, let celebrities feel their feels. They are real people at the end of the day with real emotions, both good and bad.

As the star that she is, Francine Diaz has many supporters. But at the same time, she also has her fair share of haters and criticisms thrown at her. She admitted that bullying from others, especially of the verbal kind, has gotten to her. What hurt most for Francine was that the gossip comes from the people around her, which negatively affects her emotions. “Iba ‘yung pinaparating nila tungkol sayo sa ibang tao. So parang ako naman, hindi ko ma-defend at that time ‘yung sarili ko kasi parang ang dami nila, sino ang maniniwala sa akin.” So, how did she deal with it?
