AT 17, CELESTE ALREADY SAID, “I’M GOING TO BE MISS UNIVERSE”
In her vlog, Celeste Cortesi shared how she got into pageantry. She revealed that it was Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach that inspired her to become a queen when she was stunned by her performance. At 17, Celeste already planted little seeds in the universe at that point. From the random thought of “I wanna go to the Philippines and represent the PH in Miss Universe,” to saying “I’m gonna be Miss Universe” without hesitation. She also shared that her sister laughed at the thought saying, “How are you gonna be Miss Universe when you don’t even know how to speak English?” Lesson learned: be careful what you wish for!
CELESTE WHISPERING TO THE MISS UNIVERSE PH CROWN
Upon seeing the La Mer En Majesté crown for the first time, Celeste got up close and personal. It’s believed that she “whispered” her desires of becoming Miss Universe to the crown. A few weeks later, she took it home after winning the title.
SHE MADE A WISH WHEN SHE SAW PIA WURTZBACH’S WINNING GOWN
Everybody knows the gown that won the crown. Yes, that blue gown designed by Albert Andrada for Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. Of course, a firm believer in the law of attraction, Celeste couldn’t help but hold the dress while making a wish.

The Miss Universe Organization being bought by Thai billionaire Anne Jakapong Jakrajutatip is just one of the biggest moves in pageant herstory, which means, there’s a new queen and crown in town. Well, no one’s seen it yet, but Celeste is already excited to see how it looks like. In a previous interview, she shared, “I cannot wait to see it because I need to manifest, I need to know how it looks!” Just like that, the Filipino-Italian beauty is already in New Orleans ready for her reign.
