Imagine having KATSEYE not just reference your work, but recreate it for their Halloween shoot.

Halloween 2024 may go down in history as one of the best Halloweens yet. The costumes we’ve been seeing on social media are eating on another level and have us feeling satisfied to last until the weekend. From Chelsea Manalo’s jaw-dropping Princess Tiana recreation to the “Gay Halloween” trend that has us liking every post, the costumes haven’t disappointed. And so far, we can confidently say that KATSEYE will be on the best-dressed Halloween list for many with their gag-worthy Winx cosplay. And the best part? They showed love to a Filipino artist’s fanart of the group dressed as Winx.

ICYDK, rising global girl group KATSEYE lowkey broke the internet when they dropped the photos from their Halloween shoot as Winx. Each member perfectly embodied their characters, with Megan as Bloom, Daniela as Stella, Yooncahe as Techna, Sophia as Musa, Manon as Flora, and Lara as Aisha. And can we talk about the creative and art direction of the shoot? Ate down! Thank you KATSEYE for giving justice to one of our childhood faves and showing us what a proper live-action version of Winx Club can look like. The fact that this is KATSEYE’s first Halloween as a debuted group and they’re already serving this much c*nt? Yeah, we know who we’re watching out for next year.

But in the photos the girls dropped, you might have missed that one of them wasn’t just the pose they do at the start of Touch, but it was actually a recreation of a fanart created by Filipino creative André Manguba. The self-taught artist, who is impeccably talented at his craft in case you aren’t familiar with his work, shared his stunning artwork of the girls doing the Touch pose dressed as the Winx fairies a few weeks ago.
KATSEYE, being the chronically online group that they are (and we mean that in a good way), must have seen the fanart, not only put in on the mood board, but also recreated the visual of it for their Halloween shoot, much to André’s pleasant shock.
Like, do you see the vision? All we can say is deserve and it’s nice when artists get their flowers. It feels correct to see nerds and cosplay eat as hard as they do with the creativity, polish, and execution. And, as an extra treat, the group also dropped a special Halloween performance of Touch in their Winx costumes having all kinds of fun. Looking forward to KATSEYE’s next serve. 🧚♀️
