It’s also during times like these that an ice-cold beverage and dessert are needed, and lucky for you, we rounded up some of our favorite drinks and desserts that will never let us down when the heat is trying it. Dairy Queen has rarely let us down as one of our favorite ice cream shops for that needed soft-serve goodness. And in their extensive menu stands tall their classic Oreo Blizzard. While you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu, there’s just something so simply satisfying about vanilla ice cream mixed with Oreo chunks. Just hits the spot every time.

While Krispy Kreme is known as a donut shop, do not sleep on their drinks. Their strawberry lemonade in particular is a lowkey underrated gem. This tasty and refreshing mix of lemonade with strawberry syrup is the perfect summer drink for these hot summer days. It’s the kind of sip that’s perfect either paired with a donut or on its own.

Just in time for the season, our favorite pretzel shop dropped their Lemonade Mixers, which is their signature lemonade mixed with fruit mixers. There are four flavors for you to try; Raspberry, Sakura, Cantaloupe, and Kyoho Grape. And yes, it tastes as good as it looks. Our personal favorite is Raspberry, but any flavor will be your gateway to cold bliss. Just looking at it has us quenched.

Nothing says summer quite like a shake. And if that’s what you’re craving on a hot day, Jamba Juice has got you covered. They have a lot of options on their menu that gets even longer with the amount of customization you can do. But you can never go wrong with their Banana Berry shake. As the name suggests, it’s a shake made with bananas, blueberries, apple-strawberry juice, raspberry sherbet, and frozen yogurt. It has that nice balance between sweet and sour without compromising on the fruity flavor. Gelato Manila recently came out with plant-based versions of three well-loved Filipino ice cream flavors, all made with quality local ingredients and Almond Koka milk products.
