Cropped tops have been resurfacing in a major way as of late, and on guys, too. Mr. Inigo Pascual right here shows us how it’s perfectly fine to bare a little something in style.
Before toxic masculinity and body shaming became a trend, people could actually wear what ever they desired. Throw it back to Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street or more recently, Lil Nas X and Jaden Smith wearing the cropped top. Yup, it was an actual thing and it still is, as it should. For his first ever NYLON Manila cover, Inigo Pascual was able to explore a number of trends that blurred the lines between menswear and womenswear. In most cases, he’s either fully-clothed or shirtless—there is no in between. (We love that for him!) Read on below how Inigo Pascual channeled menswear icons like G-Dragon, a young John Travolta and Johnny Depp with a mix of Filipino fashion designers and some of your fave brands.

CROPPED TOPS

Wearing a knitted cropped top and baggy trousers with cut-outs may seem like an intimidating combination, but Inigo Pascual did what he had to do with this outfit.
FALLING FOR FRINGES

Inigo goes cropped again, but this time, in the form of a fringed blazer by Chris Diaz. Go, Grease Lightning!
SUIT AND SHORTS

Two of the freshest Filipino menswear designers came together to kill this look. The plaid suit set by Ziggy Savella and Mark Tamayo’s graphic button-down proved to be a deadly combo cool enough to grace the streets of Seoul.
MATCHING HAT AND EARRINGS

Matching your hat to your earrings? Check. Utilitarian vest and baggy pants combo? Check. This is a whole G-Dragon-approved outfit to add to your wardrobe.
DENIM VEST

This whole outfit alone was enough to make Inigo Pascual dance. Best in gym class, that’s for sure.
EMBROIDERED JACKET

Groovy, baby! Inigo wears a tan embroidered jacket by Mark Tamayo with a matching sequinned top.
