Billboard K POWER 100 is an event to celebrate almost a century of Korean popular music and the South Korea’s powerful music industry. It also marked the official launch of Billboard’s latest global franchise, Billboard Korea, and spotlighted the global reach of K-pop as well as the achievements of notable artists, innovators, and industry leaders from South Korea and the Asian region.
The evening was filled with music and gratitude, from South Korean idols walking the carpet to SB19 and BINI sharing the spotlight with other big global artists by earning themselves the Voices of Asia Award along with other regional artists.
Chosen by Billboard Philippines, the two groups at the forefront of the P-pop movement were given the award because of their groundbreaking contributions to the Filipino music industry and their unrelenting efforts to bring P-pop to the global stage.

Both SB19 and BINI shouted each other and their fellow artists out. “This milestone belongs not just to us, but to the entire P-pop movement, OPM, and of course, everyone sharing Filipino creativity across Asia and the world,” Josh of SB19 said in their acceptance speech. They also added, “BINI, we are very proud of you. They have been making waves right now.”

The groups were spotted cheering each other on, chatting and making content before and after the show, and full-on supporting each other as they showcased pure Pinoy talent and achieve another milestone for Filipino music.
HALLYU ICONS
Talk about Asian excellence! A whole slew of globally-recognized artists also walked the same carpet at the ceremony and celebration, like EXO-CBX, THE BOYZ, BamBam, The Rose, and more. It was a celebration of more than just the music figures topping the charts and making waves in the industry—K POWER 100 celebrated some of the best of Hallyu and South Korea, and also the potential and impact of the far-reaching and ever-impactful global music industry.
