If there’s one thing netizens will do, it’s tweeting their feelings that are also a mood af about not being able to see Olivia Rodrigo in October.

It’s been a wild few weeks if you’re a Filipino Olivia Rodrigo stan. After months of speculation of when she’d announce the Philippine stop of her GUTS Tour, Olivia shook social media on September 10 by announcing that she’d finally make her way to the country on October 5 for a concert at the Philippine Arena. But what had everyone gagging was how the tickets were priced at 1,500 pesos regardless of where the seats were located. The cherry on top was that proceeds from the show would go to local charities as part of her Fund 4 Good Initiative supporting women’s rights. Olivia, our generous queen.

Naturally, the hype of one of the biggest artists in the world coming to the Philippines and the affordable ticket prices made ticket selling a true free-for-all when they first opened just a few days later on September 14. It was a rollercoaster of emotions as more than 600,000 people queued to buy tickets.

Sadly, that meant many didn’t make the cut, either because of the long wait, pesky scalpers, and everything in between. But this is Gen Z we’re talking about, so what did Filipino Livies do when they weren’t able to secure tickets? Make jokes about it on Twitter, of course. The sting of not seeing your fave live is real, but at least we’ll have these funny tweets to keep us company until October.
