A new month is upon us, which means four weeks of even more new music. And with the first weekend of May here, we already have a few contenders for bop and the most replayed of the summer. Get your playlists ready for these new music picks of the week.

END OF AN ERA – DUA LIPA

For her new album, Dua gives us adult summer party at the beach house while going through some things realness, and we’re not mad about it. Just take a listen to the opening track of the LP that sounds like beachside bliss.

MOONLIGHT – IAN ASHER, SB19, AND TERRY ZHANG

We love a club bop from a P-pop group. Infused with sweat-spangled beats and deep, infectious grooves, SB19’s first original international collab is a dance-pop banger that channels romantic desires in the best way possible.

TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING – NIKI

We have a new NIKI album dropping this year, and she starts her new era with a flirty new track infused with sardonic, all-too-honest lyrics that effortlessly convey the feelings that come with having a new crush.

MAESTRO – SEVENTEEN

SVT’s latest anthem is an out-of-the-box track, a testament to how far they’ve come as a group with their accomplishments and their identity.

HEYA – IVE

We know a bop when we hear one, and IVE’s newest comeback is exactly that. It sounds like a natural evolution from the hits we’re used to getting from the girl group.

DI KO KASALANAN – DEMI AND GINS&MELODIES

Come for the vocals, stay for the beat.

PRAMIS – TONEEJAY

Adding this to our “rom-com OST about two college students falling in love” playlist.

ONE KISS – RIIZE

If teenage love could sound like a song, it would probably sound like this. There’s just something so wholesome and nostalgic from this RIIZE release.

BABALA – YENG CONSTANTINO

Yeng’s newest era is here and manifests in this upbeat and funky vibe that communicates the empowering feeling of standing up for one’s self.

KAHIT DI MO KO NAKIKITA 2 – INIGO PASCUAL

Inigo is feeling his feels in this somber track on getting more and more distant from your special someone.

FORBIDDEN FRUIT – LEIGH-ANNE

Okay biblical references to talk about wanting something that is supposed to not be meant for you.

SUNNY WHEN I’M WITH YOU – YSANGYO AND PURPLECAT

The collab we never knew we needed. The smooth R&B track showcases the best of both worlds, inviting listeners into a realm where every moment is a little more illuminated—a little sunnier. Delivering a captivating mellow sound with lighthearted arrangements and lo-fi beats, the track exudes the beauty of being romantically swept away by someone whose company brings light and sunshine to your everyday routine.

JOKES ON ME – AUDREY NUNA

One thing about AUDREY is that she’ll give you something new every time. Such as with her latest single, a personality-filled track rife with heavy autotune, breezy vocals, and a trappy, electronic triple drum beat.

MIRACLE – RINI

Only someone like RINI can make a song about realizing the end of a relationship sound so soothing.

HILO – PAUL PABLO

We’re very much here for this meeting of OPM with electropop and house.

SOLO – TIMMY ALBERT

Introverts win again with this new Timmy track on finding peace away from the crowd.
