They say whenever a member of BINI calls out a basher, an angel gets its wings.

BINI may be one of the most popular celebrities in the country, to the point that the group receives more search inquiries on YouTube PH than global stars like Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter, but that doesn’t make them immune to bashers. Like with any public figure, BINI has dealt with their fair share of trolls and netizens who just can’t mind their business. But idol image who? That isn’t the MO for BINI. From dispelling rumors to clapping back at nosy netizens, scroll down for the times the members of BINI fired back at their bashers.
WHEN STACEY DRAGGED A NETIZEN WHO CRITICIZED HER RELATIONSHIP WITH HER MOM
choice ko na tuparin pangarap ng mom ko and i think there’s nothing wrong naman with that. never ako nag-reklamo kasi kahit ako ginusto ko yun and that’s a major flex. i love my mom.
— stacey (@bini_stacey) April 11, 2024
Like any good daughter, Stacey has parlayed her success in BINI to helping her mom, such as when she helped her finish her schooling. So wholesome, we know. But that didn’t stop one netizen from throwing shade at Stacey and her mom, something the P-pop idol deflected right back at them. “[I]t’s a major major major flex to fulfill my mom’s dream kasi kahit anong mangyari, pagbaliktarin man natin ang, nanay ko parin siya and never kong dadamdamin na ako gumastos ng lahat kasi in the first place choice ko ‘to not yours but still thanks for your opinion!” You tell ‘em, Stacey!
WHEN MIKHA CLAPPED BACK AT THE XYLO ALLEGATIONS
First of all, why should we care if Mikha likes to go out during her free time? She’s a successful P-pop idol of legal age who has the resources to do so, and she has all the right if she wants to. If these netizens thought they could somehow shame Mikha with these jokes, they were wrong.
WHEN MALOI TOLD A FAN TO CHANGE THEIR NAME
It’s lowkey embarrassing that there are fans who can’t read the room and decide to have a near-identical copy of the members’ username online, thinking that there’s no problem with it. Luckily, Maloi is here to wake them up and remind them to stop being irresponsible.
WHEN BINI RESPONDED TO FEELING K-POP IDOL ALLEGATIONS
LOOK: "Nation's girl group" @BINI_ph is now on their way to General Santos CIty for their "BINIverse" concert. pic.twitter.com/NA7B7dX3EB
— ABS-CBN News (@ABSCBNNews) July 19, 2024
Just like with any artist entering the mainstream, there will be people who try to make an issue out of nothing. Case in point: some netizens said that BINI were acting entitled when they went through an airport wearing masks, shades, and caps to cover their faces. So, how did the group respond? By wearing white masks, hoodies, and pants ala Jabbawockeez as their airport outfits. And that’s how you troll the haters.
WHEN AIAH REMINDED PEOPLE TO RESPECT THEIR PRIVACY
we love you, @bini_aiah 💗 pic.twitter.com/vIlExkKbxV
— sol ౨ৎ (@hallyupotter) July 7, 2024
Even if they are public figures, P-pop idols deserve their space and privacy, too. That was the point Aiah got across when she addressed the issue of a man invading her personal space while she was at a club in Cebu. She took to her Instagram stories to share a statement reminding everyone that it’s not ok disrespect their personal time outside their work. “[T]he least we can ask for is for others to respect our personal time and our humanity,” Aiah wrote. Louder for the people at the back!
WHEN GWEN TOLD SOMEONE TO MIND THEIR BUSINESS
Wag nyo na pong problemahin ang hindi ko naman problema🤍
— GWEN APULI (@bini_gwen) June 20, 2024
While many see Gwen as nonchalant and reserved, don’t get it twisted, she will defend her sisters when she has to. Just look at a time when she defended Aiah from a netizen who tried to make an issue of her absence from public appearances. “Wag nyo na pong problemahin ang hindi ko naman problema.” Period Gwen!
WHEN COLET WANTED TO “KISS” A NETIZEN
ikiskis sa pader
— C O L E T (@bini_colet) June 20, 2024
That’s so mother of Colet. We just love how she directly @ the user to show that she means business. It was a clapback so iconic they deleted their account, as they should.
WHEN COLET DIDN’T LET HARASSERS BREATH
@blueststudios colet being protective kay aiah, naka palda kasi si aiah tapos may bumabastos kaya lumipat nalang sila ng pwesto #bini #biniph #binicolet #biniaiah #colaiah #fyp ♬ Salamin, Salamin – BINI
At this point, it should be said that Colet is never one to keep quiet, especially when she and the people close to her feel wronged. Case in point: Colet directly called out men who were disrespecting Aiah during their live. We don’t know if you live under a rock, but disrespecting women in public is never acceptable.
WHEN JHOANNA MADE IT KNOWN HOW A REAL BLOOM ACTS
A true bloom knows how to respect and be inclusive. Don't consider yourself a bloom if you can't include that in your vocabulary.
— Jhoanna Robles 🦋 (@bini_jhoanna) June 23, 2024
There were 6,000 of us earlier, pero sobrang smooth ng run and walang nangyaring kahit ano. Maraming salamat sa cooperation at we love you blooms🫶🏻 https://t.co/r2d1pPxwpt
As more people flock to BINI, Jhoanna made it clear to remind everyone what being a BLOOM exactly means, and that includes being respectful and inclusive. Spoken like a true leader. It’s a message a lot of “fans” definitely need to hear.
