Mountain Dew Pitch Black  – Raf Bautista, Managing Editor

This extremely rare flavor of Mountain Dew is one of my favorite soda flavors of all time. While many might see this black, grape-flavored soda as too weird (and too sugary), I think it hits the spot as a refreshing drink on a hot day. I don’t drink this flavor often, but if I see a case at those international grocery stores, I make sure to buy a few bottles.

ZUS Coffee Watermelon Frappe – Precy Tan, Copywriter

I’ve been eyeing ZUS Coffee for a while now, and I finally gave in—and I’m so glad I did. Instead of sticking to my usual coffee order, I went for something different: the Watermelon Frappe. And honestly? Best decision ever. It’s the perfect balance of fruity and refreshing, not too sweet, and ridiculously smooth. Like sipping on a summer day in a cup. Definitely a new fave!

Brownie Chips from Brownies Unlimited – Gelo Quijencio, Multimedia Artist

I absolutely love Brownie Chips from Brownies Unlimited—they’re just so addicting! They have the perfect crispy texture with a rich, chocolatey flavor that keeps me coming back for more. I like that they’re not too sweet, so I can really enjoy the deep cocoa goodness. Plus, their bite-sized pieces make them super easy to snack on anytime. If you’re craving something crunchy but still indulgent, these are a must-try!

Dean & Deluca Truffle Pasta and Beef Salpicao – Nica Glorioso, Features Writer

The Dean & Deluca truffle pasta is not like your usual truffle pasta—it’s got depth of flavor, it’s got more than just pasta and oil, and it’s the perfect pair to their beef salpicao, which is the stuff all beef salpicaos dream they could be.

Flora Gin Bar & Eatery, Tomas Morato Ikura Cheese Rocks – Renzo Lumanog, Media Channels Associate Producer

A very good date spot, and has some really interesting fusion dishes on their menu. Their Ikura Cheese Rocks are a bed of perfectly cooked potatoes, topped with Ikura Salmon roe, cream cheese, and smoked salmon. It’s a great tasting bar-accompaniment. Make sure to reserve beforehand, because Flora does get full quick.

Buratta Gelato Soft Serve from Amano – Leona Abrera, Editorial Intern

The first time I ate this with my friends, I felt like Remy when he ate that piece of cheese and that strawberry in Ratatouille. This Burrata soft serve is creamy and the flavor is just right. With multiple different toppings to choose from, I guarantee there is something for everyone.
