Where does Kyle Echarri get his coffee? Right here in Manila, just as he sings during the PICKUP COFFEE PICKUP App launch event. Coffee brand PICKUP COFFEE recently picked up the actor and singer as their new endorser, and hard-launched him during the launch party for their new app.
If you didn’t know, PICKUP COFFEE is known for their espresso-based beverages at low price points, their distinct green-and-white carts and stalls, and their accessibility. Now, in a new step for the brand, PICKUP COFFEE launched their own app that makes it even more convenient to get your drinks on the go. To celebrate the milestone, they held an event that saw guests, fans, and Kyle himself enjoy a coffee-filled afternoon. We’ve got for you a rundown what went down as well as the features to expect in their new app.

If you were at SM Megamall Mega Atrium on April 18 and saw a flash of green smack-dab in the middle of the mall, surrounded by screaming fans, that was the PICKUP COFFEE app and endorser launch with Kyle himself. The area was decked out in the signature PICKUP COFFEE green and white, had two PICKUP Coffee stalls where everyone could grab a drink, a snack bar, and claw machines.
After attendees grabbed a free coffee from the PICKUP COFFEE stalls, they also munched on some snacks and tried their hand at the claw machine for a chance to win some goodies. The much-awaited star of the show soon came onstage to speak a little bit about being chosen as PICKUP COFFEE’s new endorser and perform a couple songs, much to the delight of his fans.
“I get my coffee from Manila,” he sings over the melody as he covered Peaches by Justin Bieber. He also performed his song Fuego. After the performance, five lucky fans got the chance to meet and take a photo with Kyle on stage, barely containing their excitement.
”We are incredibly thrilled to have Kyle join our PICKUP Family as we launch our PICKUP App,” PICKUP Representatives VP of Marketing Bien Lee and Marketing Head of Consumer Business Matteo Gancayco stated. “Alongside Kyle, we will continue to maximize the PICKUP App to improve how we provide convenience, value, and rewards for our beloved customers.”

The PICKUP App offers beverages from ₱50 to ₱95 (base prices)—and they’ve got a selection of well-loved classics like the Iced Caramel Macchiato to more unique drinks like the Watermelon Latte. While PICKUP Coffee is available on delivery apps, the new PICKUP App offers speed, more deals, and more rewards.
By ordering on the app, you can skip lines and just pick up your order at the nearest branch when it notifies that it’s ready. When you top up on the app, you can even score some deals for up to 50% off your orders on it. There’s also a rewards feature where you can collect stamps and exchange them for items like a PICKUP Tote and Planner. In a nice touch, your first purchase on the app also gets you one free drink.
