You might have seen everyone yap online about Addison’s ode to Britney’s diamond bra. ICYMI, Britney Spears wore a bra designed by Bob Mackie for her Dream Within a Dream tour. Part of the bra’s legacy is that it’s supposedly worth 1 million USD. Eagle-eyed viewers caught another easter egg: a perfume bottle from Britney’s own line. ICYDK, Britney is known for her work in perfumes, having released over 30 scents. The bottle spotted in the video was the Fantasy perfume, and it briefly appeared in one of the scenes. Could it be a hint as to what her single title could be? Who knows! Whether it was meant to allude to something big or was a simple easter egg, we’re giving Addison her props for the attention to detail.

When you’re an icon like Britney Spears, it’s no surprise to see many of the new pop girls take inspiration from you. But as a student of pop, Addison Rae is stepping up her homage game. People have been pointing out the similarities, and they’re definitely there. Addison was born and raised in Louisiana, while Britney was raised there. Addison highlights her roots in the MV as she’s seen eating beignets, a pastry associated with New Orleans. Another thing they have in common is their love for Pepsi.
