A coronation night for a major pageant can’t be complete without a little bit of drama, emotions, and a lot of humor. And Binibining Pilipinas 2022 provided just that.
And just like that, Binibining Pilipinas 2022 has come to an end. After months of hard work, runway walks, and extravagant gowns, it all came down to a single night. SB19 opened the show with a spectacular performance of Win Your Heart, which set the mood for what was to come. Catriona Gray and Nicole Cordoves served looks on look in the continuation of their historic run as all-female hosts for the pageant. The evening gowns were gowning, certain statements and answers given raised eyebrows while others elicited praise, and the Q&A segment once again delivered some of the highlights of the night.
In the end, six queens were crowed. In particular, Cebu’s Nicole Borromeo was named Bb. Pilipinas International, Tacloban City’s Chelsea Fernandez was named Bb. Pilipinas Globe, Eastern Samar’s Gabrielle Basiano is Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental, and San Pablo, Laguna’s Roberta Angela Tamondong was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Grand International. Angono Rizal’s Nicole Budol meanwhile took home first runner-up while Cainta Rizal’s Stacey Daniella B. Gabriel was named second runner-up.
