Catriona Gray Looks Like The Goddess Of Love In Her New Music Video

line
Catriona Gray as the goddess of love!

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray dons the dreamiest of looks for her new music video, “Love Language.”

Miss Universe, supermodel, advocate, and singer, what else can’t Catriona Gray do? Beaming in ethereal glow, this time she surprises us with a different side of her and proves that she’s still got it, not that is was ever lost, of course. It’s no secret that Catriona was not only blessed with beauty and brains, but a golden voice, too.

Embodying the Goddess of Love, Catriona’s single (that she wrote herself) was first released in October and only premiered its music video last Friday. It speaks about how one is yearning for her lover to reciprocate her affection through words. With the help of stylist Gee Jocson, they brought to life a series of breathtaking looks that were all sorts of divine. Read on below to know more about how the wardrobe in Love Language was brought to life.

According to Gee, she only had less than two weeks to prepare five looks for Catriona. Imagine the pressure of dressing up a Miss Universe queen and supermodel rolled into one? “Honestly, dressing Catriona like a pop star was such a breeze! She’s open to experimenting new silhouettes on her,” she shares.

Pressure makes diamonds and of course, there were bumps along the way. One of the outfits that were hardest to source was the holographic chainmail look. “For the outfit in gifts of service, we had to find something that’s iridescent. We had to be creative in using the materials that were available.”

Next to that, Catriona’s blue cowl neck dress was created with no fittings at all. “The designer for this lives in Cebu city, so we had no time to fit it, but super happy the dress fits like a glove on her!” We’re obsessing over how Cat just really showed us her hyper feminine side all while supporting young Filipino designers.

Funny enough, Gee shares that the most challenging thing for Catriona was having to function with her long nails! “It’s so funny, because Catriona couldn’t touch anything with those long nails. But it looked so good on camera.”
